I just wanted to let readers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area know that I’m going to be on NBC Channel 5 (KXAS) news tonight at 10:00. The topic of the segment is Thanksgiving Travel (one of my favorites). Hopefully my tips will help people get ready for the busiest travel days of the year. The video was just posted to the site, you can view the Thanksgiving Travel Tips Video Segment on the NBC Site. Let me know what you have to think in the comments below. |

I am travelling back from Madrid to New York on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Are international flights spared any of the T-giving travel agony?

I have enjoyed this segment very much as well as your e-mails.I travel a lot, mainly to Europe and It is wonderful to have someone knowledgeable giving us he right time of the day when we need it.
All these fares are sometimes so confusing and I am not talking about the ones we hear about too late,it takes someone devoted to that type of research to let us know what is available and what is really worth it
Thanks again
Marie Anne

We are going from Japan to Australia 11/21, b/c of date change to 11/22 is there still a chance of getting delayed? We took the red-eye per your advice. Karen

Thanks for the air travel tip. Rick’s expertise was a big part of what made the report have an impact, and affirmed my decision to take the train, not fly this Thanksgiving.
