NPR Says, “Cheap Airfare a Thing of the Past.” Wrong.

Interesting report on NPR about “cheap” airfare: they say it’s a thing of the past. Not so. Oh, sure, thanks to rising fuel prices and strong demand, cheap airfare isn’t always as cheap as it used to be, but smart shoppers (who use FareCompare.com) can still find bargains out there. Besides, it’s all relative: the airlines are still going to offer multiple prices for the same flight. The trick is, finding the cheapest price (even if it’s not as cheap as it used to be).
