Cops Step In When Passengers Riot in Argentina

Filed under: News — Rick Seaney @ 3:18 pm

Over the weekend, passengers smashed glass and damaged ticket counters at Buenos Aires main airport; they were upset about delays caused by striking workers at Aerolineas.

People were screaming and yelling and throwing things, but, by Sunday, more police were called in, things quieted down, and flights eventually resumed. Meanwhile, about 5,000 were said to have been affected by the delays.

I guess it just goes to show that there a lot of people out there, who are tired of not getting the service they paid for.
