More Delays for Boeing Dreamliner

Filed under: Dreamliner — Rick Seaney @ 1:45 pm

It looks as though the roll-out of the Dreamliner has hit another snag, and Boeing is seeing a direct affect on its financial standing.

It’s now believed that the Dreamliner, the plane that many have said could revolutionize commercial air travel, will be pushed back another three months, which means the Dreamliner will be 10 months behind schedule. As reported by BBC News, the coming announcement of further delays caused Boeing shares to drop close to 5% on Tuesday.

The Airbus A380 experienced similar delays and setbacks, and in the eyes of many, the super-jumbo is now underselling. It will be interesting to see if the Dreamliner can bounce back, or if it will experience similar problems to the A380 once it finally makes its maiden voyage.
