The piece of a wing came off a Boeing 757 over the weekend, on a flight from Orlando to Philadelphia (180 onboard); it was about 17-square inches big. It hit a passenger window, but not hard enough to do much (or so it seems from the reports).
This happened while the plane was flying over Maryland. So, if you happen to be on the ground in, say, Prince George’s or Anne Arundel counties or near Kent Island, look around. You may just find a rather unique souvenir.
