The BTS (Bureau of Transportation Statistics) released its report on average airfares for the fourth-quarter of 2007. Overall, the average cost of airline tickets is up 4% when compared to the fourth-quarter of 2006, and the average price of airfare has reached the highest fourth quarter level since 2001. - Houston Bush, TX - $397 (16.2% increase)
- Washington Reagan National - $381 (13.3% increase)
- Boston, MA - $372 (13.2% increase)
- Washington Dulles - $404 (11.9% increase)
- Honolulu, HI - $268 (11.6% increase)
