Jumping Off the Sinking Ship: More Workers Quit Delta than Anticipated

Filed under: Delta — Rick Seaney @ 1:59 pm

Remember last March? That’s when Delta offered a voluntary severance payout to about 30,000 of its employees.

They hoped 2,000 employees would take the package and run.

Turns out, 4,000 have decided to leave.

Well, it’s okay by Delta. I’m just glad these folks were lucky enough to be “volunteers”. Other airline workers aren’t getting a choice.

  1. Rick, have you seen this story? Things don’t look good for any airline. http://businesstravelcoalition.com/campaigns/consolidation/airline_crisis_pr.html
