A skunk got into an American Airlines plane that was getting ready to fly from Miami to Bogota. According to the story in the Miami Herald, the creature’s presence led to a 2 hour delay (well, thunderstorms in the area didn’t help, either). The skunk was discovered by airline employees in a cargo bay - apparently, they smelled him (I’ll bet). A bit of a mystery remains: we know the creature is no longer on the plane, but no one seems to know how he got there in the first place - or what’s happened to him since. No one even seems to know how he got off. An alert Herald reader left a comment on the paper’s website suggesting the skunk got off the jet on his own “…because he realized the airline industry no longer feeds passengers!” |
