Did Your Home Airport Make the “Healthiest Airports” List?

December 26, 2008 | Posted in: Airport, Did You Know

Health Magazine has come out with a Top Ten List of the nation’s “healthiest” airports. Now, I’m not sure I’d normally use the words “healthiest” and “airports” in the same sentence, but what the heck…

Anyway, the folks at the magazine said they looked at such criteria as healthy dining options, a low stress experience, clean restrooms and all the rest.

Some on the list surprised me — how about you? Take a look:

Health Magazine’s Healthiest U.S. Airports

  1. Phoenix Sky Harbor International
  2. Baltimore/Washington International
  3. O’Hare International (Chicago)
  4. Detroit Metropolitan
  5. Denver International
  6. Washington National
  7. Dallas/Fort Worth International
  8. Logan International (Boston)
  9. Portland International (Oregon)
  10. Philadelphia International

Seriously: CHICAGO? I’d rather dine in hell than willingly choose to fly in/out of that god-forsaken airport.
