You’ve forgotten about Delta. While their live TV (from Dish Network) is only equipped on a portion of their fleet (767-300 Domestic [76P/76Q], 737-700, 737-800 [They are in the process on installing this on the entire 737-800 fleet.], and the 757s in the Transcontinental layout [75X].
I flew on Continental on July 11 2009 and the tv’s could not boot. I want my refund since I was charged for this. How do I request my refund?
Um, i would NOT pay to see the TV. That’s why I carry a DVD player for my daughter.
But if there were little cost difference, FREE tv might just make a difference in who I fly with.
Frontier charges 6.00 or offers an upgrade ticket that includes the DirectTV and one checked baggage. I take this option every time. Continental should consider this. It is worth every penney.
Just something extra in the airlines pockets. I woundn’t pay for TV. I rarely watch at home. I’d rather read a book or catch up on the magazines.
June,
You have to contact Continental about this.
Rick
Casey,
I’d rather read too but these little screens can be lifesavers when traveling with children. And I like to watch every now and then; it seems to make the flight time pass a little more quickly.
