A 21-year old man traveling aboard a Southwest Airlines plane traveling from Oakland to St. Louis somehow thought it would be a good idea to take off all his clothes and start yelling and punching his seatmate.

Naturally, this drew the attention of the flight attendants, and just about everyone else on the plane – it’s hard to ignore a 6′1″ 300 pound naked man in your midst – but he was eventually subdued while the plane turned back for Oakland where he was arrested.

Not sure what his problem was, but he did have an outstanding arrest warrant on drug-related charges.

Something similar happened aboard a US Airways flight last month, where another passenger found it expedient to disrobe – and flatly refused to travel with clothing.

Sometimes I wonder – should we be calling them “fight” attendants?
