Cheap Holiday Airline Tickets – You Can Quote Me on That

Actually, CNN.com did quote me on that.

Domestic holiday airfares are running as much as 15% lower than last year. As I noted in the article, even though prices have picked up some from the super-low figures we saw this summer, these are “still historically good deals.”

Hang on – one of my employees wants to chime in: “Last year, I paid an astonishing $900+ for my college kid’s roundtrip ticket home for Thanksgiving – but this year, it only cost a little more than $350 – and yes, it was purchased the same time I purchased last year’s.”

Maybe you can make a great score, too – but hurry – I like to tell people to buy their tickets by the end of October.
