“Up in the Air” Movie Director Jason Reitman Loves to Fly

December 7, 2009 | Posted in: Airline News,Deals,Frequent Flyer

I haven’t seen it yet, but the trailer for the film “Up in the Air” looks terrific.

This is the film I told you about earlier, co-starring George Clooney and American Airlines — and both look terrific in the little footage I’ve seen.

The movie has just been released – to “stunning” numbers – and goes into wide release Christmas Day. A lot of critics really like it.

And perhaps not surprisingly, writer/director Jason Reitman likes to fly – and often logs 100,000 miles or more a year. In fact, Reitman has lately been flying all over the world for various “Up in the Air” premieres, which is fine by him. As he told the Hollywood Reporter, “There’s a reason why I made this movie: I actually enjoy it.”
