no strike christmas new year's british airways

Good news if you’re flying British Airways over the upcoming holidays.

We’ve just received word that Britain’s High Court has granted an injunction, which means BA’s flight attendants and other cabin crew members who voted to go on strike from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2 will remain on the job.

British Airway CEO Willie Walsh has said, the “we believe [the trade union] Unite has formed a better understanding of our position and of the ways in which we could move forward.”

Is that a sigh of relief I hear from an airline across the pond?
