More Chihuahua Dogs Fly to New Homes on Virgin America

chihuahua dogs fly new home virgin america

Hope you’re not sick of little dog stories, because the Chihuahua saga isn’t over yet…

One of my employees just received a press release from Virgin America; it seems they will be airlifting a total of 37 pups on two flights tomorrow, heading from San Francisco to New York, where they are very popular. This is to help ease overcrowding in Northern California dog pounds.

Those of you who saw my earlier post know that some blame that overcrowding on the “Paris Hilton Syndrome” — people slavishly following the pet preferences of celebrities, only to dump the poor creatures when they are too troublesome. Same thing happened not long after Disney’s original “101 Dalmatians” too, with those spotted hounds.

Anyway, the media is invited to see the Chihuahua pups prance down a red carpet tomorrow (seriously) and all will be attired in little sweaters (hey, it’s chilly in New York).

And I think that’s the end of our “little yappy dog” posts. Unless you tell me otherwise.
